Empathy is the degree that you actually care about someone.
Without any empathy “loving” others is merely dedication to obligation.
Christ commanded you to love one another. I (his father) add that this love must be with (as much as possible) complete empathy.
Many whom presume to speak for me love others incorrectly because their love lacks sufficient empathy.
